Microwave & Stovetop Directions


For a double boiler (recommended), heat water in a bottom pot until almost boiling and turn heat off. Place broken baking bar sections in top portion of the boiler and let sit until sections turn shiny. Once shiny, mix until thoroughly melted. Avoid water or steam coming in contact with the chocolate.

For the microwave, place desired amount of chocolate sections in a microwave safe bowl, uncovered. For every ½ ounce section, heat about 20 seconds on high power.  Microwave strengths vary, so please use these times as indications. It is important to watch the chocolate while in the microwave. When it becomes shiny, take out and mix thoroughly. If more heat is required, add in 10 second increments.
